My name is Pastor Don Swarthout and I am the President of Don Swarthout Ministries. I was already an Ordained Pastor when I was Ordained again in 2002 by one of our nation's leading Pastors. I am very proud of that ordination and I accepted it only after a great deal of thought about how I would fulfill the obligations that accompanied it.

One thing for sure is that I believe in preaching the true Gospel of Jesus Christ and because of that I am well known for preaching the straight forward and true word of God. I bring a lot of insight into my preaching and that is the reason many people have told me they enjoy listening to me so much.

I am also the President of Christians Reviving America's Values, but I have grown in my ministry to the point where I believe that religion is the only true answer we have with which to answer the problems America is facing today.

During the past few years I have come to the conclusion that the answer for all of our national problems lies in the Gospel of Jesus Christ. That awakening has led to a tremendous growth in my life. I would love to share what I have learned with your Congregation.

One of the secrets is that as Christians we have a right to expect a government based upon the principles of Christianity instead of a government based upon the lies of the devil.

Yet another secret is the principles of good government are exactly the same principles as the principles of Christianity.

GOD CALLED ME TO BE A WATCHMAN, AN EVANGELIST AND AN ADVOCATE FOR THE PEOPLE OF AMERICA AND FOR THE ENTIRE WORLD.

It is all in Ezekiel 33:1-16. God tells me in verses 1-7 to be a Watchman for OUR NATION and to warn the nation about impending danger which God allows me to see coming upon our nation.

In Ezekiel 33:8-9 God tells me to warn the WICKED PEOPLE of our nation to repent and to be saved. These verses are all about their individual salvation.

In Ezekiel 33:10-16 God tells me to be an ADVOCATE FOR ALL PEOPLE HERE ON EARTH. Jesus is the only one who can be our advocate in heaven. However, God told me to teach them what he is saying to them and to warn them about their wicked ways.

We need to preach a Simple Gospel. We must also preach a Gospel that is true and completely thorough.

One of the simplest verses I have ever read is Ecclesiastes 12:13 which says, "Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man."

This scripture says almost everything we need to remember about God and his will for us here on earth. We must preach a simple Gospel in order to get the attention of those who are lost. They do not have a long attention span and therefore they will not listen to long teachings about God and his will for us.
